Overview

The UMass Medical School’s curriculum is designed to seamlessly integrate teaching across disciplines; emphasize self-directed study; promote team-based learning; and employ state-of-the-art educational technologies. 

Academic Technology and Curriculum Innovation (AT&CI) focuses primarily on the education mission of the University of Massachusetts Medical School through the support and development of electronic resources for teaching and learning both online and face-to-face.

The Integrated Teaching and Learning Center (iTLC) is a learning environment that facilitates this team-based, interactive, blended learning. Supporting a curriculum that is designed to seamlessly integrate teaching across disciplines; emphasize self-directed study; promote team-based learning; and employ state-of-the-art educational technologies.

The Academic and Research Technology Hub is a center for teaching and research faculty to brainstorm ideas and invent innovative tools and systems towards developing a world-class technological ecosystem for Academics & Research at UMass Medical School.
